Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct airside operations in a safe and efficient manner by working collaboratively as a team, adhering to established policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Execute operational tasks by guaranteeing effective and precise communication through a variety of channels.
  • Ensure that service requirements are met by coordinating and communicating with team members, passengers, clients, vendors, and aircraft crew. Services may encompass catering delivery, transportation, parking, marshalling, wing walking, ground power and potable water services, lavatory servicing, fueling, and de-icing.
  • Proactively prepare for the arrival and departure of aircraft, identify any outstanding tasks, and promptly report or address any safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Drive and operate ground service equipment, including petroleum trucks, de-icing vehicles, ground power units (GPUs), tugs, and stair trucks.
  • Load and unload luggage and other cargo to and from aircraft, Passenger Access Terminals (PATs), visitor vehicles, or other modes of transportation.
  • Ensure that visitors have a first-class experience by consistently providing exceptional customer service with a professional, positive, and helpful demeanor.
  • Supply visitors, luggage, and cargo with secure and respectful shuttle transportation as required.
  • Ensure that the ramp areas and the overall operational zones are kept clean, safe, and secure.
  • Perform fuel handling responsibilities, which encompass the documentation of all related activities, inventory management, petroleum receipt, and quality control.
  • Comprehend, adhere to, and advance all operational, safety, and passenger service protocols that are linked to airside operations.
  • If a task or condition poses a risk to the company’s reputation, people, the environment, or company or guest assets, operations must be promptly halted. Inform a supervisor of the problem and offer support in reducing the risk.
  • Adhere to emergency response protocols during critical incidents.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • General Education Degree (GED) or High School Diploma.
  • A minimum of 18 years of age is required.
  • Ability to successfully complete company background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, and airport background checks to obtain and maintain an airport security badge, as well as being insurable under the Company’s relevant insurance policies.
  • Must possess legal authorization to operate within the jurisdiction of employment.
  • Exceptional coordination and vision are required to visually inspect aircraft gasoline and move and/or direct aircraft. The capacity to successfully complete a color vision examination for the purpose of inspecting aviation fuel.
