Responsibilities for Fruit Production Supervisor Jobs in New Zealand:
- Supervise and coordinate orchard staff during pruning, thinning, harvesting, packing, and general orchard maintenance.
- Monitor crop stages, fruit quality, and growth progress; report disease, pest, or environmental issues.
- Plan daily tasks, prepare work schedules, and achieve productivity targets.
- Train new and existing employees on horticulture techniques, machinery safety, and company procedures.
- Implement and monitor health & safety standards in line with NZ regulations.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, GLOBALG.A.P., and packhouse requirements.
- Assist management in crop volume planning, manpower allocation, and operational improvements.
